mentorship

I am an advocate for exposing kids to the vast possibilities in Civil Engineering at a young age. I am active in the following activities to promote engagement, equity, and advocacy within Civil Engineering:

  • Developed and taught a Structural Engineering Course for the Gifted Education Research Institute (GERI) and taught the class for two summers. 

  • Volunteer instructor for after-school structural engineering courses through Girls Build.

  • Member of the Women in Structural Engineering (WiSE) network

  • Founder of Women in CCE (Civil and Construction Engineering) at Oregon State University
